Barnsley Ilesha Choir is a well established ladies choir, based in the town of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We are named after the late Sheila Hoddle, a great lady and talented musician.
We sing in three-part harmony (soprano, mezzo-soprano and contralto) and our repertoire includes a wide range of pieces including songs from the shows, traditional tunes, as well as modern. Our choir enjoys performing several concerts each year as a standalone choir, as well as joining with other singers or bands when we can.
Barnsley Ilesha Choir are always happy for new singers to come and join us so please get in contact. You can follow us on Twitter or check us out on our Facebook page, where you can view a selection of videos taken from recent concerts.
